Google Indexing Hack Exposed!
If you havent been to Steve Wiideman’s SEO Expert Blog yet, then this is the time for you to visit! I’ve been a loyal fan of his blog for some time now. Note: Keep in contact with other bloggers! Recently, Steve posted an intriguing article about a secret way for attaining the #1 spot in Google for a given keyword.
The Secret: With your keyword, link to Google’s Results Page. Simply put, Your keyword = Anchor Text. The Link = The Google Results Page for the Given Keyword.
Now, Steve says this technique only worked temporarily, but that could have been for a number of reasons; high competition, incorrect values received in Google’s SE algorithm, etc. Well, we could just take Steve’s word for it; but SEO Blogs must test these theories for themselves, or else it wouldn’t be any fun! Try it on your website and see what you come up with!
